Sarasota , Florida Once again, Group Five is conducting an week-long ground school for cadets. The mission is to instruct qualified CAP cadets in a manner to prepare them for passing the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Private Pilot Knowledge Test with a score of 70% or higher, the Federal minimum passing grade. Upon completion of this school and after approval from Florida Wing, the cadets will be allowed to initiate flight training in CAP aircraft. Group Five has five aircraft available throughout the group to accomplish this training. The activity is scheduled to start Sunday, 14 June and run through Saturday, 20 June at the Sarasota Military Academy in Sarasota, Florida. |
